My name is Allyson. I am a 33 year old wife and mother of three. I started really getting into photography or really just taking pictures about five years ago.
I lived in Placerville which is between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. It has the most beautiful old buildings and a great rich history that I wanted to photograph them. Really so I could see them all the time. Then people would tell me how great they were and what a good eye I had. So my husband showed some to a local gallery in town. She loved them.
For the most part I take photos of objects that are beautiful or important to me, whether that’s family or just a tree down the street. When I look at the pictures I take I feel it shows my personality. I find myself taking pictures of nature, which I truly adore. My kids, for obvious reasons, and toys and baby stuff, because I am a kid at heart.
Sometimes I will look through my pictures because it’s things that make me happy, so it can change my whole mood.
